About US · Mission & Vision
Garuda Golf Club, Washington, D.C. brings together the Indonesian diaspora and American communities in Washington, D.C., who share a passion for golf, fostering friendships, strengthens cultural connections, and expands professional networks.

Golf serves as a conduit for cultural exchange and the preservation of Indonesian traditions. During these gatherings, members of the community share stories, reminisce about their homeland, and introduce younger generations to cultural values. By incorporating elements of their heritage into these activities, they ensure that Indonesian traditions remain alive and relevant, even in a foreign land. Additionally, these events serve as an opportunity to introduce Indonesian culture to the international community through interactions with players from various backgrounds.
The Club is led by a committee of VOLUNTEERS consisting of individuals from Indonesia, the United States, and the international community in the Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland (DMV) area.
